Young Life's mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.
We believe that kids around the world are searching for purpose, meaning, & life. Through Young Life, we are able to live life with kids and accept them as they are- no strings attached. Through outlets such as club, campaigners, contact work, and camp, kids are invited to experience life as God designed it to be lived.
Young Life is a non-profit Christian outreach ministry that was founded by Jim Rayburn in 1941. Rayburn had a vision of sharing the gospel to high school students through an event called Young Life club. Club involves lively singing, a skit, games, and a short talk about Jesus Christ. From club came campaigners- a bible study event. A large foundation of Young Life is its camping ministry. Young Life has thirty-three properties where the gospel of Jesus Christ has the chance to be presented in a way that is unique to Young Life- disconnected from normal day-to-day life.
Young Life has now expanded across the globe and has nine different ministries-
-Young Life- High School
-Wyldlife- Middle School
-Capernaum- Friends with Disabilities
-Young Lives- Teen Parents
-College Life- College and University
-Club Beyond- Military
